This place has been recommended to me multiple times, and I finally went to try it. It's a cute little place with very good food and super kind staff! The bad reviews about the service and environment are surprising to me. I tried the lemongrass tofu and the coconut curry chicken, and both were delicious. It's also very fairly priced.

A nice and simple place, with a lot of charm and good food. Great menu selections, and helpful workers. I went with a desire to satisfy my craving for a Vietnamese meal, but only intensified my need for more!

Wow. Great food. Order what you like, it's all terrific. One of best Banh Mi sandwiches in the city too.

Annie’s Cafe is what happens when food and vibes get married and invite only the chillest people to the wedding. It’s small, dimly lit, and peacefully quiet—aka the perfect eating environment if your brain, like mine, gets overwhelmed by noise, chaos, or people breathing too loud. I went here for my birthday and split a few dishes with my wife, and honestly? Even with my usual texture issues (which are 100% my brain’s fault, not the food’s), everything was incredible. You can taste the love in every bite—probably because it’s cooked by the owner and her boyfriend. I’ve never been to Vietnam, but this feels like the closest I’ll get to a real home-cooked Vietnamese meal without a passport. And shoutout to the guy working who told me they’d happily adjust dishes for my texture sensitivity next time—absolute legend. Whether you’re neurodivergent, picky, or just someone who likes food that hits like a hug from someone who actually gets you, Annie’s Cafe is 100% worth the visit.

The pho broth is actually quite nice and flavorful. The bowl size, noodles, and meats were generous and fulfilling. Pork was good and the tacos were tasty as well. The building itself is old and needs some cleaning tho. Recommend for tasty food especially the pho.

I lived in Vietnam for a year and this place is by far the most authentic...pho the liquid is clear, brings plenty of greens and peppers and a lot of meat in it. Great prices for the quality of food you get!

This is the secret Asian restaurant your friends talk about, this restaurant is very homely, nothing special at first glance but wait until you sit down and eat, you'd think you were dining at an expensive Vietnamese restaurant in the East end. I had the banh-mi traditional sandwich and it was the best banh-mi I've ever had and also the largest. My wife always gets the pho and it's always delicious. Highly recommend Annie's Cafe, the staff are also very friendly and engaging, we'll be life long customers
